- Public Lecture “A Sense of Touch”, Curious Minds, Perth (Dec 2018).
- Campaign to reconnect India to its scientific heritage. This campaign highlighted the achievements of Indian scientific heroes through posters displayed in 25 national museums across India during Oct-Dec 2018.
- Campaign to reconnect Scotland to its scientific heritage and raise awareness about the transformative scientific outcomes. As part of this campaign posters were displayed in Glasgow subway stations during 23 Oct. to 5 Nov. 2017. About 600K people used Glasgow subway during the display period. This initiative was also highlighted by Glasgow City of Science

- Lecture, Pint of Science, Glasgow (May 2017).
- Royal Academy of Engineering funded Ingenious Public Engagement Award (2016-2017). This initiative involves presenting touch screen interfaces in 15 Scottish Schools. The project involves Scottish Schools Education Research Centre and Glasgow Science Centre.
- BEST group participated in ‘Explorathon‘ at Glasgow Science Centre on 30 Sept 2016. Our booth attracted more than 250 people. Explorathon is part of European Researchers’ Night funded by European Commission.
- Commentary in National Science Museum’s display related to tactile skin technology (July 2016). This was part of Science Museum’s Antenna programme.
- Interview in BBC Radio Scotland’s evening programme “Newsdrive”, 3 June 2016.
- TEDx Glasgow talk at Theatre Royal, Glasgow – about 1200 people from various walks of life attended this event (3 June 2016).
- UK-Taiwan Medical Devices Outward Mission to Taiwan, 6-9 Mar 2016.

- Live Demo (Upper Limb Prosthetic Control Using Toe Gesture Sensors and Various Touch Interfaces) at IEEE Sensors Conference, Busan, Korea, Nov 2015.
- ‘A Question of Science‘ at Glasgow Science Centre (22 Oct 2015). The two teams from Glasgow university grabbed the winner and runner up slots.
- Lecture at Knowledge Exchange & Impact Conference, Glasgow, UK (5 Oct 2015).
- BEST group participated in ‘Explorathon‘ at Glasgow Science Centre on 25 Sept 2015. Our booth attracted more than 200 people. Explorathon is part of European Researchers’ Night funded by European Commission.
- New Students’ club on 3D Printed Prosthetics formed at University of Glasgow. Students volunteers in the club develop prosthetic limbs using 3D printers and liaise with global networks to help disabled people.

- I wrote an article “Explainer: what is electronic skin?” for The Conversation, which is an independent source of news and views, sourced from the academic and research community and delivered direct to the public (29 May 2014).
- Participated in the PassWord program of Resonance FM London to discuss ‘tactile skin, robotics and ethical issues’. The program was aired on 7 May 2014.
